Wonder

Mankind will not perish for want of information but only for want of appreciation. The beginning of our happiness lies in understanding that life without wonder is not worth living. What we lack is not a will to believe, but a will to wonder.

~ Abraham Joshua Heschel, God in Search of Mam: A philosophy of Judaism.

Looking Out

The first element of true love is loving kindness.  The essence of loving kindness is being able to offer happiness.  You can't be the sunshine for another person. You can't offer happiness until you have found it for yourself. So build a home inside by accepting yourself and learning to love and heal yourself.  Learn how to practice mindfulness in such a way that you can create moments of happiness and joy for your own nourishment.  Then you have something to offer others.

~ Thich Nhat Hahn

..And it was all.. Yellow

Nothing can make you happier than you are.  All search for happiness is misery and leads to more misery.  The only happiness worth the name is the natural happiness of conscience beings.
