Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop.

Tracks

Yesterday I bathed in the river and washed my woes away; Today I'm forging my own path - my own trail and though I'm walking straight into the dark and am filled with fear and grief I'm also releasing and ready. Buddha said, 'Each day we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.' Here's to being born over and over and over again.

Swimming Hole

Wolf Spider

I rescued her from the pond.

She was as - calmly as she could - trying to keep her babies from drowning. Wolf spiders carry their babies on their back for a while. One by one her babies - as they are ready - will leave their mamas back and venture out into the world.

Such is the way of motherhood - parenthood.

We carry them as long as they need us and then we have to let them grow on their own.
