Bird

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.

Dinner

When I consider the critter who left this behind I wondered how long it was there...

Did it take the acorn from the leaves in the garden? Or did they come from a tree in the yard?

Looking at the spot it seems like a pretty good vantage point from the place this rock is in the yard...

Does it eat here often? Or have I just missed it?

I hope it was a yummy acorn...

Track

I love a foggy morning.

Log

I've been watching this log for a while.  Something digs in it regularly.  There are not any insects visible to the eye and very few scratch marks that are identifiable as such.  I have only seen a wren on it.  And yet, it continues to become more 'dirt' like each day.

An interesting mystery.

Trail

Found the raccoons trail.

Bluejays Squawk

and Red Bellied Woodpeckers 'chee'

a wren nervously 'piks'

and every now and then a little bird behind me lets out the faintest 'pzzzt' call

my mind feels like the highway sounds in the morning

pretty sure there is a hawk I cannot see
