Medicine Making

I've cut the purple basil to make more basil vinegar, lemon balm and yarrow for tincturing, and comfrey for salve making and drying.

Purple Basil

It reseeds every year.  I enjoy it's color, but have never used it much in the kitchen.

This year, I've decided to use it in the kitchen.  The flavor is milder, but it makes a beautiful herbal vinegar for salads and other dishes.
