A quilt con reject

I wasn’t planning on sharing my #quiltconreject because I was feeling so sorry for myself.. rejection never feels good, but I awoke to story after story of beautiful and amazing quilts that also didn’t get in and that helped put my woe is me into a little perspective. Yes, I DO want a larger audience to see these time consuming highly detailed works I make and I am SO glad I am not on the decision making team. I don’t even know how they decide and based solely on two pictures per piece.. I feel like even though I’m not going to see my art there I am in great company with the quilts that also didn’t get in.

I will probably keep trying.
