today was short and sweet and all about the little things

This morning was shared with a vole moving under the leaves and feeling like I was involved in an epic cat and mouse game of where will the vole come out at so I can catch a glimpse of its face (unlike a cat I don't wish to eat it). Watching it closely come to and from I am amazed I haven't noticed its run before today. Now, I have many new questions about voles.

The sun came out and my feeder was already empty when I got there.
