What a gorgeous bright day.
It volleyed between cold and cool.
I wonder how the ground hog who lives on the other side of this ice feels about the weather.

Sharing moments of Stillness and Silence
What a gorgeous bright day.
It volleyed between cold and cool.
I wonder how the ground hog who lives on the other side of this ice feels about the weather.
I had the pleasure of wandering and stillness on the river at Earthsong. The first time I sat on this part of the river (almost 18 years ago) there was a great blue heron. I have been to this river and Earthsong many times since that first time - and not nearly often enough in recent years. Today, was like coming home again - returning - life bringing ME full circle.
Earthsong held me as she always has.
And there - as though he has never left was a great blue heron.
I doubt it was the same heron. I am not the same as I was that first time on the river either. But, his presence marks again, the beginning of a new chapter and new connections.
Remembering.
Reawakening.
Returning.
A cold wander at Hawkes Creek today
A lovely pause with these horses
And a hermit thrush.
Onward and Upward
