I am so thankful for Winter and its stillness.
The birds have been dashing to and from the feeders all day
stopping only to sing their songs.
I think they might also be glad
to be slowing down.

I met the blue headed vireo today.
And I matched the call I have been hearing that was new to the neighborhood.
