always stretching
sometimes
in beautiful hues of color
sometimes
silently in the dark
earth.

then chased
by a young buck leaving behind his scent.

Visible
Fragility
A great paradox
Of strength
Unseen
Except
In flashes
Of sunlight
And only
On the
Softest
of breezes.
