Rain
rain
and more rain.
Puddles
all over the yard,
Standing water in the garden,
happy birds flitting
from the freshly filled bird feeders.
Such a strange weather day
for December.

Sharing moments of Stillness and Silence
Rain
rain
and more rain.
Puddles
all over the yard,
Standing water in the garden,
happy birds flitting
from the freshly filled bird feeders.
Such a strange weather day
for December.
Thinking about the great turning inward
on the longest night of the year.
As the light begins its return
tomorrow
I will be looking out for the bluebirds
who have been visiting us
the last few days in the maple by the porch.
Welcome to the neighborhood.
There was no sitting today.
But, instead
A nice long wandering through the woods.
Gratitude
for the shortest days of the year
and the inward journey
the bring.
A foggy dew
drippy
kind of morning
where the air
is cool enough
that you can feel the breeze
on the tip of the nose
but warm enough
where a sweater will suffice...
With nuthatch, titmouse, chickadee and cardinal
busily doing
what they need to do.
Okay, yes, I will sit here a bit longer.
Things have been kind of quiet in our world of Adventure Seeking. Instead our current adventure is building our garden.
