The Goldfinch have returned..yesterday there were two. Today there are seven. I am hoping the whole flock returns..
Finch
This morning as I sat and the cardinals sang
two males side by side
my mind began to drift to this flock and what I can learn from it.
I came in and looked up the wisdom of the finch...

That sounds about where my own energy is at these days
creating, manifesting, and dreaming.
Flock II
The snow coming down is beautiful.
It is painfully unfair that it is not sticking.
The true southerner that runs in my blood is thankful I made the trip to the grocery store...
Flock
I slid into the flock of birds today up close to watch them... I read there can be up to five hundred in a flock. I don't think the flock passing through right now has five hundred but, it easily has 250. There are pine siskins, goldfinch, red house finch, nuthatch, and juncos. The sound is incredible as they land among the trees and begin their decent to the ground... The swoosh when the hawk spooks them and the flee into the trees...
